 The Lord visited all who were at or with the Church in Marshall with a concentrated message of His serious intent. He intended to move us, in representation of His intent to all of His people, from religion and "going to Church" to becoming, as He had intended at the first, His representation of authority and rule in the earth. This visitation signifies the removal of those things out of our lives that are not of His Kingdom.
From our creation, God had intended that mankind rule over the earth by extension of His rule over man. "...let them have dominion . . .over all the earth.." Genesis 1:26. When Adam came out from under the rule of God by believing he had a "right" to make a decision apart from God (self government), that rebellion cost man his dominion, his rulership, his kingship. As a result, God lost His representation and authority in the earth through man. Thank God, it was returned to Him (and man) whose right it is on Calvary!
Since the first Adam, everything that man has done is based on his needs. Having rejected the governmental rule of God, man had to get his needs met for himself. Man creates his own god to meet his needs and even those called out to represent God (Christians) have displaced the kingdom and rule of God with religion. A man religiously changes the true God's own words via his filtering system to meet his needs. Because of this, few preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, which we were commanded to preach. Most teach the gospel of salvation, the gospel of prosperity, the gospel of healing, deliverance, etc. Salvation, healing, prospering spirit, soul and body were all to be truths lived when men's lives were submitted to the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Jesus Christ brought the Kingdom of God (whose kingdom it is) and the Kingdom of heaven (where it came from) to earth when He lived among us. He said,"...Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand..." Matthew 4:17. It was so close they could have touched it. It was in Him. It is in us. We step back into our divine purpose and enter in to the Kingdom of God.
We are the ekklesia. Religion has taught us that the word "ekklesia" is a religious word that means a Church, and, if maybe you have a little more light, it means a twice called out church...a church called out of the world and out of Babylon. It is true that the ekklesia is called out of the world and out of Babylon (the religious system that breeds confusion), we just haven't forsaken Babylon. We have swallowed and taken on it's religious trappings. The word ekklesia never had anything to do with religion but was a governmental word denoting the assembling of a governmental people (a senate) a house of representatives of the Lord that will be His governement in the earth...then the gates of hell will not prevail!
We, the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, should be executing God's judgement and representing Him at all times and everywhere in the earth according to what was redeemed for us at Calvary. The Word of God says that our citizenship is in heaven. We are to be citizens immersed in the constitution of our King and carrying out His judicial decisions in the earth. Why isn't the Church ruling and reigning on the scale that our Lord intended? We have been religious. We have had a filtering system that has been made filthy by man's rebellion through self government rather than being ruled by God. We have been devastated through religion. . .believing more in what man has taught us through the traditions or the needs of his filter than in what God has said,.
The Kingdom of God demands certain behavior from us as those who live under the rule of God will never be those who are ill tempered, mean spirited, gossipping, backbiting, complaining, fornicating, adulterous, self willed, self ruled, selfish or self seeking individuals (the list goes on). Galatians 5:19-23. The Gospel of the King's domain will only be preached for a witness (marturion/martyr) by dead men. Those who will truly die daily to their "right" to themselves and their self-governed life.
It is not enough to know that the Kingdom of God is truth. Religion teaches that the Kingdom of Heaven exists for us to enter into when we die no matter how we live for the Lord, or rather don't live for Him but live for ourselves, now. We had better know that in all that we are and all that we do, we are under His dominion, living in His domain, now. To do this, we must change our paradigms, change our filtering systems, discover where we have become religious, turn away from it and return unto Christ Jesus as Lord, entering into His kingdom, now, through our daily submission to His rule. Matthew 7:22-23.
